Historically built on the site of the old “Hotel Apolo”, in the heart of Retiro neighborhood, Las Nazarenas was inaugurated on October 1, 1981 . Its name refers to the spurs the gauchos use on festive occasions.

Since its inauguration, Argentine and international celebrities have visited the Restaurant, for example: Luis Miguel, Elton John, Shakira, Paloma San Basilio, Batistuta, Jose Luis Perales and Placido Domingo amongst others.

Pioneers in the concept of “ criollo grill ”, Las Nazarenas began as a typical Argentine grill ; however, during the 90s it implemented new international cuisine , and since then its menu has become one of the most complete in Buenos Aires .

With a firm step, accompanied by the famous spurs, the restaurant grows maintaining the tradition of generations of families dedicated to gastronomy , based on the knowledge and experience of its founder, Don Luis Barbería, and continued by his son, Luis, who adapted this culture to the times, shining with the modernity, the management and the gastronomical tradition received as a child.

Our staff: A group of people with the best attitude and respect towards the customers. Our cooks at the grill are men from the interior of the country, who , through years and generations, have acquired the art of grilling meat with individual techniques.

In addition to the ample eating space, the Wine Corner was renewed and the “ Wine Cellar ” was inaugurated; spaces where all the varietals and generic wines existing in the country can be tasted, and bought at the Restaurant.

We are proud to say that Las Nazarenas was declared of tourist interest by the Secretariat of Sports and Tourism of Argentina since 1997; and has the backing of the National Institute of Wineries.
